RieForum 2011 continues to be a place where precious time is spent with different actors of the economic and social system, that are active in the development of our region and they collaborate to help and support the reality of a higher level ofinnovative and dynamic entrepreneurship. The fourth edition will be held at Padova, from 17th to 19th March 2011, and it will feature a vast program, that will address topics related to research, competitiveness of the industrial system, high-tech entrepreneurship and finance.
The first day will begin with the prestigious TR35-Young Innovators, the project created by the historical American magazine, Technology Review, which promotes the spread of emerging technologies and analyzes their commercial and social impact. TR35-Young Innovators program aims to collect the best ideas and applied research projects that have the potential for creating new businesses being developed by under 35 people. The "New Wealth of Nations" is generated by the human capital, in particular by the most brilliant young enterprising talents of a national community. This year Forum is dedicated to young people, confirming a message of encouragement and hope for the new generations of scholars and entrepreneurs. On March 17th,the Forum will continue with the YouToBiz - Build your company, where the theme will address the issue of the creation of technological companies and the finance to support start-ups will be addressed.
Forum 2011, will also host an evening dedicated to science. This event will be open to the general public to discuss some important topics of science, research, ethics and communication.
The Guest of Honour for the evening, which will be held March 17th at 21: 00 will be Professor Edoardo Boncinelli.
Referring to his latest article "I remember myself. The body, emotions, conscience.” he will try to analyze the real task of science and philosophy, which - according with the author ( Boncinelli) - is to understand consciousness and try to give it a definition.
On 18th and 19th March there will be two days dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship. The central topic of the sessions of March 18th will be "New entrepreneurship and competitiveness of the businesses" The focus is to enhance a profound understanding of the development of new business models, innovation for economic development and stimulating the formulation of new industrial strategies, at the local and national levels and guidelines for original technological entrepreneurship.
The session "Business that is changing; Strategies and Opportunities of Business Diversification", will be held at the premises of Grafica Veneta SpA and will address the diversification of business groups, industrial medium-sized businesses through the testimony of successful real cases from our territory.
Once again, group of companies will narrate their experiences with regards to their strategic evolution with respect to the vital role of the international markets and the knowledge economy.
